Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic established by the Trust in 1982, was the first private polytechnic started in the undivided South Kanara district. It is recognised by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. NRAM Polytechnic is affiliated to the Board of Technical Examination, Bangalore.
The Institute is housed in the NET campus at Nitte. Located at a distance of 53 kms from Mangalore and 30 kms from Udupi, the campus is situated in a sprawling area of 100 acres. Being adjacent to the State highway from Padubidri to Kudremukh, transportation to and from the campus is hassle free with a plethora of express and local busses plying the route.
