An Entrepreneurship Awareness Course is held every year for the students of the final year Civil Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Computer Science Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical & Electronics Engg. and Fashion Technology departments in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at NMAMIT.

Extra-curricular / Technical activities
The Polytechnic conducts a number of extra-curricular and technical activities for the all round development of the students. The following are a few of the activities organised by the institute:

• Orientation programme for the first year students.
• Learning & Communication Skill Workshop for the students.
• Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship awareness programme for the final year students.
• Residential Leadership Training Programme for class leaders. 

NRAMP has a Chapter of the Indian Society of Technical Education which organises guest lectures on a number of technical subjects for the benefit of the students.
