Dr. Veena BK     M.Com, Ph.D

Dr. Veena BK received her doctoral degree from the Mangalore University for her thesis on "An evaluation of employee involvement and empowerment programmes-A study with reference to selected industrial units in Karnataka state". 

Papers presented:

• "HRD: Contemporary issues and challenges" at the 5th State level conference of Teachers of Commerce & Management conducted by the Federation of Teachers" Councils of Commerce & Management held in Mangalore on October 16 & 17, 2003.
• "Strategic team building: A fact or fiction" at the Nirma International Conference on Management (NICOM 2005) on achieving competitive advantage through people. The conference was held at the Institute of Management, Nirma University of Science & Technology, Ahmedabad from January 28 to 30, 2005.
• "Employee involvement & empowerment: A case study of VISL, Bhadravathi" at the international conference on Emerging Competitiveness Paradigms organised by the International Society for Competitiveness (ISC) and PES Institute of Management, Bangalore on January 11 & 12, 2007 at Goa.
