Independence Day

The 79th was celebrated with a patriotic fervor at Dr. NSAM PU College, Nanthoor. The celebration began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by Sri. Sudhir Pai, Senior Officer of the Indian navy. To mark the spirit of the occasion, the students presented a graceful welcome dance, which beautifully blended culture and patriotism.

Sri Sudhir Pai emphasized the importance of students setting clear goals in life, stating, “India has groomed today into the fourth largest economic power in the world. There is no doubt that the glorious India of the future will grow into the largest power in the world. On this occasion, it is our primary duty to remember the sacrifices made by our elders who brought independence to the country. Let us also remember the soldiers guarding our borders”. He further emphasized that students with a clear vision become the true strength of the nation.

Dr. Naveen Shetty K, Principal, remarked that Independence Day is celebrated beyond all barriers of caste, creed and religion. He urged students to realize that freedom offers equal opportunities not only to shape their own future but also to contribute to nation-building.

On this occasion, Sri Sudhir Pai was honoured for his dedicated service to the nation.

Ms. Chaitra welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Divya Vishal proposed a vote of thanks and Mrs. Shraddha compered the program.
