Alumni Association

The Alumni Association of Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research (NUCSER) - named "Adhyetha” came into effect from 1st August 2016. The alumni association's motto is to intensify and build up the relationship between the alumni and the institute through getting connected by engaging in various activities among former students.

  • Regular meetings of the association are being conducted, and efforts have been made to gather alumni requesting their registration and fund collection.
  • A platform for registering the alumni was created online, which was monitored by the assigned members.

“How did I get here”

As a part of the alumni event, “How did I get here” series event was inaugurated and conducted on 1st November and 17th December 2021, virtually on the Google meet platform. It is a series of event where the alumni of NUCSER pursuing higher education in various Universities across the globe interacts with their fellow alumni and the other students of NUCSER to enlighten them with various opportunities in higher study.

The guest speakers of the first series were Ms. Rhea Sarah DSouza, research scholar at Kyoto University, Japan, and Mr. Koshi Mathews, research scholar at Hirosaki University, Japan.

The guest speakers for the second series were Ms. Sandra Nazareth, research scholar at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and Ms. Joshna Pereira, research scholar at Institute of Biomedical Sciences Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Annual Alumni Meet 2020

The annual Alumni Meet of NUCSER was held on 11th January 2020 at Summer Sands Beach Resort, Ullal, Mangaluru. Mr. Prasanna Kailaje, Director, Student Welfare & Alumni Relations, Nitte DU was the function's chief guest. He highlighted the importance of alumni association & alumni meet for an organization, shared his experiences with the alumni, and suggested ways to strengthen the association.

Mr. Anoopkrishna K, President, Adhyetha and his team was instrumental in coordinating the meet. The formal program was followed by lunch, fun-filled games, and networking activities.
